Jessica Phillips is responsible for Strategic Merchandising Initiatives and Owned Brands, with a focus on honing Ulta Beauty's brand building capabilities. She most recently led the merchandising work for Ulta Beauty's first expansions internationally.
Prior to Ulta Beauty, Jessica spent 20+ years in various Merchandising roles at Sephora, Target and Best Buy and Sales and Marketing positions with EMI Music in Los Angeles. Jessica has a BA from University of Minnesota, Morris and MBA from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management.
She is also a Regent Emeritus of the University of Minnesota (1995-2001), former board member of both the Carlson School Alumni Board (2017-2023) and UMAA Board (2001-2008), and currently serving on the board for Mutual Ground, a non-profit serving individuals and families impacted by domestic violence.
